SSRC - Where We Are and How to Get There

To insure that ongoing retreats are not disturbed,
we ask that you visit Sea to Sky Retreat Centre by prior arrangement only.

Sea to Sky Retreat Centre is located in the Canadian Province of British Columbia and, despite our majestic wilderness setting, we are less than two hours' drive north of the scenic, cosmopolitan city of Vancouver and only twenty minutes south of Whistler, one of North America's most popular recreational resorts.

Arriving in Vancouver by Air

If you'll be arriving at Vancouver International Airport, information on bus, taxi, shuttle, limousine and rental car services is available on the airport's web site.  From the airport you can find accommodations in Vancouver (see suggestions below) or connect directly with bus service to the Retreat Centre (also see below).

Traveling to SSRC by Bus

You must phone the Retreat Centre (604 932-1677) and let us know your bus departure time in advance.  Travel time is normally two hours.  Please arrange your bus departure for 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM or 3:00 PM from Vancouver's Pacific Central Station, 1150 Station Street (near the Main Street Skytrain Station).

For more info, please call the Vancouver Bus Depot Passengers phone number: 604-482-8747 or Bus Info: 1-800-661-8747 or visit www.greyhound.ca).

Inside the bus terminal, approach the Greyhound Buscounter and purchase a round-trip ticket to 'Black Tusk Village' (although this is not where you will get off!  Cost $25.50).  Tell the driver that you want to get off at the Garibaldi Provincial Park road to Garibaldi Lake and Black Tusk.  If the driver appears to be uncertain about where you want to get off, mention that the road is just past the Rubble Creek bridge and near the BC Hydro dam at Daisy Lake.  After passing through Squamish it's good to remind the driver about where you want to get off.  Retreat Centre staff will be waiting to pick you up at the main highway.
