The Rugged Natural Beauty of Our Landscape

At an altitude of 430 m. (1400 ft.) above sea level, the Retreat Centre lies on the forested shoreline of Daisy Lake below the western slope of Black Tusk Peak. Two story floor-to-ceiling windows in our 2500 square foot main lodge look out across the lake's turquoise waters to inspiring panoramic views of Cloudburst Mountain and the glaciers of the Tantalus Range.

Sea to Sky Retreat Centre is a place for quiet contemplation in all seasons. In spring, summer and fall, our woodlands of Douglas fir, western red cedar, western hemlock, birch, alder and cottonwood give way to bright displays of wildflowers in meadows and along roadsides. In winter, the warmth of the woodstove indoors is a counterpoint to the serene beauty of snowy landscapes.

The only developed property on Daisy Lake, the Retreat Centre is completely surrounded by Garibaldi Provincial Park and other undeveloped public lands. Over 2 km of private entry road further insures peace and seclusion.

The Retreat Centre has easy access to the mountain hiking and backpacking trailheads to Black Tusk and Garibaldi Lake.

The Retreat Centre's central facilities include two fully equipped modern kitchens, four bathrooms and complete laundry.

The Main Lodge includes three bunk rooms and a loft providing up to 14 individuals with comfortable shared accommodations. Utilizing informal sleeping arrangements the Main Lodge can host a larger number of guests. Rooms at Mid Level can accommodate an additional 6 individuals. Retreat cabins, contemplative walks and picnic areas complement our central facilities. The Retreat Centre office and staff accommodations are separately located from program space. All facilities are fully winterized and heated by wood stove or propane furnace for year round comfort.

Program Pavilion

The Centre’s newest addition is an elegant 700 square foot Pavilion with large central hearth. Integrated into a secluded natural setting, the Pavilion can host a variety of group programs and special purpose activities. The Pavilion's hearth and chimney are removable for programs where they are not required. The Pavilion has accomodated programs with up to 75 participants.

Depending on seasonal demands, the Centre is supported by a staff of three to six.
